In 1976, Historic Buckingham, Inc. acquired and restored the Housewright House, a Jeffersonian-era brick home on U.S. Route 60 in the village of Buckingham. The Housewright House serves as our headquarters, as well as a museum and a repository for historical books, genealogical records and other resources, such as cemetery surveys and maps.
Most of the items on display have been contributed by members of Historic Buckingham or residents of Buckingham County. Exhibits range from antique farm tools to china dolls.
